Linux desktop distros have no inherent "value", unfortunately. Noobs should stick to the free distro that has had the most active development history (Fedora) and skip all the "easiest to use" clones.

Linspire is cool stuff, but it's not "real" Linux Guys, try something more serious like Slackware, Fedora or at least crappy Mandrake )) LOL

But, yes, Linspire is good start for n00bz
