You know what... ? I don't like "Batman: the beginning" !

Everyone spoke here so many good things about this movie...

But it's not so good I think.

Spider Man is much more interesting and thrilling

For those who haven't watched it yet, don't expect much from it. You can't even compare it to the previous batman movies.

And I'm not just a wanker hungry for blockbusters. I like good movies.
I'm cinema fan.

I like movies which are thoroughly thought over, in every detail...

But this new Batman is some kind of drama. Especially the beginning.
It's not even an action I think.

Batman appears in episodes for a few minutes...

I don't think this film was worth making - everyone new the history before.

I don't know - I just don't like this film. "Much ado about nothing"

This prequel was Nolan's vision based on Kane/Finger stories. Stop spreading bullshit facts.

bingo...my faveorite reviewer called it an independant film trapped in the body of a blockbuster. I am the type that likes indie films better than blockbusters which might be why I enjoyed it.

who said it had to be action? Frankly, I tune out if car chases and stuff are too long. I liked Spiderman as well but just because they are both superheros doesn't mean they have to be the same film.

I think that films about superheroes are quite the same, and instead of making one that differs from the others it's better to make a thrilling one with special effects and so on...

Superheroes don't exist to be like other people. They are beyond our understanding. They must serve an example and wake our best emotions!

When I watched Spiderman the film inspired me for some great deeds. It encouraged me to do something unusual. Just filled my body with energy!!!
And at 00:00 I was ready to go to the gym and train as hard as I can!

That's the power of real superhero - to encourage! to inspire! to make us aspire to unreached perfection and so on..

This film about Batman wasn't energetic at all.

Batman Begins showed a different angle from all the previous episodes.
and yes it has drama. it touched the weak side of bruce wayne.
so what with that? all superhoroes have weaknesses too.

it's called Batman Begins because they showed how bruce wayne became the bat man...easy logical thinking eh?

This is EXACTLY why it's such an AWESOME movie. They actually tried to stay TRUE to the origins developed within the comic books, and not just make it some farcical BS reminiscent of the old Batman and Robin TV series.

If you haven't seen this movie already, it's definitely worth the admission fee (imo), I watched it and am totally wanting to watch it again, SOON!

Excellent, action-packed movie!

let me guess.......you loved "Revenge of the Sith"

while "Revenge of the Sith" was a good movie, it couldn't carry "Batman Begins"'s jockstrap.

"Batman Begins" is an instant classic.

I think this "character development" was obvious in the very first part of Batman
and it was worthless to show it again by creating such a movie...

Everything shown in the film is obvious from the first Batman movie. They just made a detail description for those who haven't understood the very first part.

Everything except "Shadows' League", but this idea was really stupid as for me.

i admit that during the first part was a bit dragging. but during the course of the movie it's becoming rally interesting & the pacing was really fine.

flashbacks are fine.

This Batman film is true to the comic book fan and unlike Spiderman actually had plausable explanations - no bitten by radiated spiders and gaining super powers. Batman is human and highly trained - THAT's it - he is an anti - hero not a super hero - He has no powers - and as far as inspiring - what could be more inspiring than a plausable human protagonist who is believable? Your argument lacks reason - but you definitely are entitled to your opinion. I have been a life long Batman fan because of his human aspect and the fact that he is not like the other heros - he's a vigilante and controversial - He is dualistic - and that's is what makes him interesting - and Batman Begins portrays this masterfully. My two cents for all it's work

you kidding me?
first off, Bale is one hell of an actor, period. and he is the THEE best Batman ever! The only problem i had with this movie was that there were a few shots of Bale in his batman mask and it looked weird (like it didnt fit his face well or something)

other than that, i give it a A+

Very good point! That's the one I can agree with.

But still "Batman Begins" could have been more interesting as for the plot (I mean bad guys), fights and tricks.

BTW I liked that moment when that doctor smelled poisoned gas and saw real bat in Batman. That was cool idea, because the whole island took him as a fearful creature, when he appeared after the town was poisoned... But still - burning eyes are not so impressive novadays...

the training of Batman was fuckin awseome!
but the fight sceens (for me) were REALLY quick, in the sense that i couldnt tell who was hitting who most of the time. maybe because it was on a big screen & my eyes couldnt "take in" all of it? i dunno. but the training of Batman is fuckin sexyyyyyyy

My buddy who went with me said the exact same thing Babagirls - I actually liked the quick cuts - it was like a POV from the criminals - Batman was so quick - you can't even see him - I thought it flowed really nicely with the whole stealth Ninja motif.
