Feel safer?!? - 'Known Travelers' Can Bypass Security At OIA

So how does this stop Al Qaeda sleeper cells from compromising security?

A number of the 9/11 hijackers were United and American elite frequent flyers.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Airline passengers who submit iris and fingerprint scans at Orlando International Airport will be able breeze through security scans this week, according to Local 6 News.

Frequent fliers can enroll in the Registered Traveler program beginning Wednesday.

OIA is the first U.S. airport to implement the pre-screening security program.

Passengers registered as a "known traveler" will submit to a background check and iris scans.

After submitting the information, passengers will be granted express access to the airport's security checkpoint and avoid the long lines and random inspections, Local 6 News reported.

"Express access to the airport's security checkpoint" that does not say "bypass security".

I believe they get their own faster security lines...

Do you guys remember about 6 months back when the airlines were talking about screening all passengers (back ground check) and if you get on some sort of "list" you dont fly?

I heard about it 3 or 4 times on CNN then it went away.
