Depends on if the gov. tries to herd all adult sites into them or just add them as additional domains.

When .us came available I registered during the sunset period, but someone didn't end up with it. I went through the National Arbitration Forum and received the domain. I would suspect the same sunset period and arbitration opportunities would be available.
