Always wear your belt! I just got in a crash last month...

Me = seatbelt = not even a scratch
GF = no seatbelt = two broken vertebrae + lots of pain + month in bed + hospital stay + bills + pain in the ass

I owe my life to the damn seat belt. I can still remember the way it held my body as I hit a bus (!) (not my fault, it came out of nowhere directly at me) at 60mp/h 3 years ago. The car was totaled, and I got out without a single scratch.

I wear my seatbelt. From the pictures, your knee doesn't look as bad as I would've expected. A day of backyard football with some psychos will have you looking worse than that.

Get some ice on there and soak a wash rag in Epson salt and hot water and put it on your knee, if you take vitamin B12 it will help the bruising go away faster. I'm just glad you made it out alive, was it your car?

I'm also surprised that there exist people who dont wear seatbelts by second nature..
You really have to, and dont let someone in the front seat who refuses to wear theirs. You're liable in some states if your front passengers has no seat belt. If they dont like it, they can just kiss your ass and walk.

I was in a car that hit a pole at about 160km ... sideways. Lemme tell ya, im glad i was wearing my seatbelt...

i still got throiwn around and my knees smashed the dash, and the stereo ended up in the back seat from it...

My neck was sliced open from the "burn" of the seatbelt holding me bac from going out the windsheild.. im thankful for it for sure...

funny thing is, driver wasnt wearing his, his side ( in between his door and rear door ) hit the pole, he walked away without a scratch...

pole ended up falling in the car too. but nothing much from it... damn light post's are expensive to replace, fior the driver...

He was being an idiot and we told him to slow down, he didnt and tried to make it around a corner that wasn't meant to be taken at 180km, he let off the gas, and the back tires just let go and spun us out, wham...

everyone was ok thank god,, was oncomming cars too thatd had to drive off the road to avoid getting hit..

now that guy owns a 500+ HP camero,,, needless to say ive never driven with him since,,,

at least your alright, and heal up quickly, I have a broken arm right now from a motocross accident last sunday, man it's hard to type lol

Just so you guys know..i am walking this one off, i no longer have medical insurance. So i got 12 vicodin to take care of the situation.

What the picture doesn't show you in scale is the size of the knee, its 6-10x larger than normal, & the top of it is numb, yet the insides hurt.. Imma go get it checked out monday i guess, but its not broken.
