As I get older and wiser ...

... my "inner circle" gets smaller AND TIGHTER ... negativity and small minded people are draining and get cut out way more quickly - I just don't have the time nor the patience anymore.

I'd agree with that J. I find as I get older that I just don't suffer fools as easily. I even have to watch myself, or I'll get too short or curt with people that I need for things. I can't understand why they don't understand something, lol.

But oddly, it's the opposite when I drive...I used to be full of piss and vinegar at every cut-off, every stupid move, every near-crash someone caused, etc, but now it doesn't even phase me. I even feel pity for their poor driving skills lol. I need to find a way to apply that driving zen to real life....

nothing was wrong with my car btw, some oil spilt onto my engine block which was the cause of the white smoke I was seeing, the oil burning off of the engine.

Being able to size up people better and quicker. yeah, it makes sense. You know what's good for you and what's not so good for you so you dissociate from the bad stuff quicker as you get older.
