Equally stupid. If you know what sites name why SEARCH for it? I know surfers are stupid, but I didn't think they were THAT stupid.

[QUOTE=chadglni]Ok one last time to make is simple for people. If you are using IE go to the address bar and type without http://www

gofuckyourself.com

You'll notice under the adress bar it says SEARCH FOR gofuckyourself.com.

When I type in gofuckyourself.com without the http:// and hit enter or go it take me to the website. I don't see anything about a search.

It's just people being lazy and not typing http: in front of every domain. Search engines automatically forward you to domain names that are searched for that way but show you results for non domain names. MYSTERY SOLVED.
Yes and even if you are right how would that show up on overture? How would overture know that I searched for a word or not? When I search for anythig I use google.

Yes I know that and that makes it even more stupid for someone already at Yahoo to search for yahoo.com. The stupidy of surfers never ceases to amaze me.

This part really confuses me. Why would you trade all the premium search engine traffic? Unless his search engine traffic is landing on a different non skimmed page ?
