We landed on the Moon! or did we...

Im sure you have heard of the theory that the whole landing on the moon was fake to make other countries think we are ahead in space technology....

What do you think? did we or did we not land on the moon... and give a reason why you feel the way you do.

we have all seen this pic
I didn't know there was wind or even air on the moon? hmmmm

I'm no rocket surgeon, but i thought the flag looked like that due to the moon having no atmosphere, little gravity and wind from solar energy.

*shrug*

even with little gravity wouldn't the flag lie dead like a flag on earth with no wind?

You may be aware that Penn & Teller covered this in a recent show on Bullshit, I suggest you watch it.

Yes we landed on the moon. No there is no way possible to have faked this without some idiot somewhere who was a a gaff or in kraft services on the damn set from speaking out over all these years.

The wind is supposed to be from the solar energy. It moves the flag because there is not atmosphere. The only thing is, that the flag should be blowing the same way as the shadows run.

There is little gravity so a flag wouldnt fall dead like it would here on earth. Now, over time...the flag WOULD fall dead.....but not immediately....

Now, if you were an american in space trying to take a pic of the flag like this one. You'd probably wait for a moment when the flag was showing versus being flacid

uhhhh. NO, since there's not enough gravity to pull it down. If it were wrinkled it would just sit there and look wrinkled.. just as it looks

He already said he hung the flag, it drooped, he stuck a wire under it to hold it up. That's why the top is straight and the bottom is not. That's ancient news.

Oh, the landing on the moon conspiracy. People write as if there were just one landing that came out of the blue without any history. There were actually 24 impacts or landings on the moon; not all US.

Here are some landings:

1959-1976. 8 Soviet Luna probes which all landed or impacted on moon (the 2nd probe impacted the moon in 1959)

1964-1965. 3 US Ranger probes all impacted moon

1966-1968. 8 US Surveyor landers landed or crashed on moon. Actually, radio contact was lost with one in 1967

1969-1972. 6 US manned landings
