you didn't like it?!! damn. that sucks man. Did you like the first 2 keaton ones and not this one? or have you seen the keaton ones.

This Batman movie was so fucking good, it smokes the other batman movies. Great superhero movie and was really well done and not cheesy at all.

SaintElGrouch 06-18-2005 07:46 AM

Im with WebCrawler. The first 90 minutes of the movie is filled with boring cliche sayings of fear over and over and over and over. The fighting scenes are done so quickly that you can't determine what the hell is going on. The best part of the movie is the Scarecrow's airborne roofies. The car chase scene was nothing to write home about.

If they continue to run with this version of Batman, I pray that they do not replace the Joker. I don't think anyone in the business could have done it better than Jack.

saw lots of movies of Bale before i get too see this one, from Equilibrium to Shaft. he's one underated actor and this one gives him a lift which puts him
in the A list in the Holywood today. Christian Bale gives us the best Bruce Wayne that has ever graced the screen :2 cents: :thumbsup

:smokin

Awesome. Can't wait to see it.

Bansheelinks 06-18-2005 08:26 AM

Batman Begins was the shit.

I appreciate the psychology and the intellectual creativity that went into the script instead of some cardboard, dim-witted video game. This Batmovie was believable and anyone out there could identify with the character. Hard to identify with Val Kilmer or Clooney when those stupid batsuit nipples are staring you in the face.

Batman Begins has laid waste all the action adventure movies so far this year in a big way. The others aren't even close as of yet.

swoop 06-18-2005 08:27 AM

really looking forward to seeing this :)

Bansheelinks 06-18-2005 01:24 PM

have to go again soon.........was that good

Spankys Teens 06-18-2005 01:44 PM

Batman fucking sucked....it was too fucking long and the action scenes where too short and always too fucking dark. I can say "save your fucking money and go and waste it on some other fucking overhyped fuck movie"

Errrr....sorry about that but our supermarket gives you the 2nd ticket for free but i forgot to take it with me...so i had to pay double price....that pissed me off anyways....so fuck batman and Go Go Mighty Mouse!!!!!

Sarah_Jayne 06-18-2005 02:04 PM

Well if you are looking for a cartoon it isn't the right movie for you and maybe that is why I liked it.

johnshinil 06-18-2005 02:31 PM

To be honest, I was very disappointed with the movie. The first half-an-hour seemed as if you were watching one of those *Ninja* movies. Plus it lacks star power. And more importantly, a solid villain. I would still recommend it though, simply because it is a pretty down-to-earth movie compared to it's former outings. See it but don't go in with a lot of expectations.

To the producers: Please bring back the *blue look* to Gotham city and hope the next one is directed by Tim Burton. He is the best!!!

your review, imo, is totally off. who gives a shit about 'star power.' Bale acted circles around Keaton, Kilmer, and Clooney. No contest.

the blue look for Gotham? Gotham never looked better and more appropriate than in Batman Begins. it reminded me of Blade Runner somewhat. Batman Begins was so much better than the other Batman movies, its not even worth mentioning. it blows Revenge of the Sith out of the water.

its the best and most intellectual comic book adaptation made so far, even better than Spiderman 2, no easy feat mind you.

Sarah_Jayne 06-19-2005 02:03 AM

How is Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Micheal Caine, Liam Neeson, Rutger Hauer and Katie Holmes - to name a few - not star power? OH you mean people that can't act but look good in rubber! sorry.

what he said....then how about gotham being too much futuristic? shouldn't have it been like in the 30s or something?

just a punk 06-20-2005 03:34 AM

Not bad movie but a little bit overextended... I was hoping to see something better.
