As a surfer, would you trust billing companies?

If you signed up for a site and were unable to use the members area and the content was so low quality your webcam could do better would you expect a refund? What if they refused?

Would this leave a bad taste in your mouth about that billing company?

I'm sure it would but at the time they buy I don't think they care. They see something they want and bam they are a member. It is pure impulse.

I don't know if the billing company is the person I would have issue with.
However CCBill's default page is snappy and brands them well, so it may affect some people.

I have thought for the longest time that it would be in CCBill and Epoch's best interest to base some type of company compliance on Factual tours in addition to the regular Visa rules that they must follow.

If a tour Boasts 1 million photos. They need to have damn near 1million photo's or more. They claim updated daily, they need to update as they promise.

companies, and people can Claim " The Hottest blah blah blah" that's subjective.

But HOURS and HOURS of movies is not 15 scenes of the site the surfer purchased and a package to see "all" the other sites. I didn't order sexy office girls only to see dirty hispanic maids.

If a company is grossly misrepresenting their product on the outside, it's time for the 3rd party processor's to do themselves and all of us a favor and stop processing them until they get their shit right. </rant>

So the billing company has no responsibility to refund the purchase even though they billed the card?

I think the billing companies are just as bad as the lying tours. They got their money, what do they care?

Almost all of my friends or people I talk to who are NOT net savy are not wiling to use their card to purchase porn or other things from unknown smaller sites.
People fucked it up along time ago and I think it plays a huge part in conversions today.

If I were a surfer, I'd be less likely to trust a billing company on account of its signup form. Seriously, some of the custom CCbill forms look like shit, and the default epoch one is fucking horrible.

Surfers are dumb, and they're much more likely to enter their credit card into a well designed site than a shitty one, especially if they've just gone through several pages of nice visual tours.
