    it looks like someone hacked into our password file

    As password sentry catches them would you recommend , sending them a new username and pass?

          Thats a idea, im figuring they had to hack me because I checked 3 users and they came from 3 different billing companies.

              but my hosting guy is saying they might not have gotten into the server and it was trojan .Im confused lolo

                  maybe he was trying to say their was a trojan on the server but there was no unauthorized access they do log the ips that access the box admin..

                      We use freebsd I thought you couldnt get trojans with that
                      He said he doubted it was hack because if so my whole membership would be black out now instead of only 15 . I dont understand Im just videographer lol

                                  I would for the users to hit you up for the new passwords. Not sure how many members you have, but I'm willing to bet you have a bunch of members that don't even realize they're being billing. Sending them a new password only reminds them that they should cancel.

                                      then maybe you just got brute forced by someone that knew what they were doing it happens... it's all those god dam password sites giving out info to fucking script kiddies on how to hack our sites thats killing us, i've seen some of these sites that have 1000's of passwords added daily thats just ridiculous
