Guitar help from people who speak other languages besides English

    Hi,
I'm looking for a Marina e-602 guitar if anyone knows where to find one for sale. Can you look in foriegn search engines for one? I believe it was a forign made guitar.

    Marina e-602

There is one in Germany from Chris... I bought it already. But, I can't find anymore anywhere.

If you find one, and I buy it, I'll send you a finder's fee.... you may need to translate for me.

    Thanks,
    ~Ray

Looking for an out of production Czech guitar. Now that's obscure. I've never heard a Marina.

        Try this company:

        City Music Co Pte Ltd
        1, Sophia Rd
        #02-12, Peace Centre
        Singapore 228149
        Phone : (65-) 63377058 ha Fax : (65-) 63385919

You can also try posting at guitarsite.com or some of the other guitar enthusiast sites.

This site has lots of info on vintage Czech guitars and they have a forum that you can post to as well.

        Good luck,

They are really solid and heavy. They patented the big bolt through the body up through the neck. They sound good. That's about all I know.

              Les Paul Custom heavy?

It looks like a floating tremelo on it?...does it have a locking nut too?

It's heavier than a Les Paul.

The trem on the one above is stripped. Was like that when I bought it, but the other one is fine.. it stays in place until needed.

I first thought it was Korean, now maybe CZ, although the cz marina/jolana guitars look nothing like it at all...?

It's definately not Korean. Korean manufacturers use relatively light woods unless they're contracted to sell Cort in North America. Then they use the best woods available.

So this is heavier than a Les Paul? Damn dude, you're back is going to hurt after a few gigs with a guitar like that. However, good heavy guitars produce the best bottom end for the most part. So this is a newk-thru body bolt design? Interesting. Should keep low mids fairly focused.

Do you just have the stock pickups on it? If so, how do they sound? Something you'll be changing? Most stock pickups are garbage but I'm finding that foreign manufacturers are really starting to take note of that and winding goog pickups lately. Take Cort for example, they're stock $12 Mighty Mite pickups are actually really good sounding.
