The US could launch a nuke attack, and then they'd get hit right back many times and we'd be in nuclear winter, every country involved would be ruined. Or, they could try to win with their air superiority, but they don't have the capability to sustain that for very long. It was recently released that China's war machine is much more advanced than anyone in the west realized, if they militarized there would be no stopping them.

Partially right. The US for years has believed that N. Korea, and China have the bodies (i.e. biggest military number to throw at a war) but with absolete, or outdated weapons. So if you take what they previously believed for the past decade, versus the truth they actually have planes, boats, and such, then yeah. For some nitwit relic of the cold war, they prolly were suprised.
As for the rest, not true. They are still on the learning curve, but it's closing based on the normal lack of math and science, oh and apparent inability to copy everything they touch.
