I have looked around and I can't seem to find anyone that shows to be compliant yet.. Online record wise. Anyone happen to be ready with this crap yet?

i have the suspicion that most webmasters aren't even aware this is happening. that's probably the intent of these new regulations. it's like they are setting a trap for the unwary.

I'm just trying to find someone I can check out, make sure I'm kinda going in the right direction with our online records.

But.. I can't find anyone that appears to be ready yet. Just a lot of people saying they are.

I can't imagine anyone is going to risk putting up all of their model's home addresses, etc. and risk the consequences of that action before there's some further vetting of the procedural req's of the new 2257.

i wouldn't rely on others. i mean, the largest sponsors (who can afford the top legal advice) can't even agree on how to comply.

you don't have to put the model's ID on your site. you have to put YOUR address on your site and have the records ready for inspection.

You don't have to put the models home address online. The only address that goes online is the producers which everyone should have had online already.

But you have to get them to the "secondary producers", which is mostly likely going to occur online*. I don't think the strategy of "call us when the agents are there" is actually in keeping with the letter of the law.

* I didn't mean that they needed to be accessible to the public at large. But as everyone is affraid, it's too easy to become an affiliate and thus become entitled to them as a secondary producer.

We're about 90% of the way home....just tracking down a few missing ID's that we should have today or tomorrow.

But you've already seen our setup, I showed you a few days ago.

As an affiliate, 100%, me getting 100% compliant is like 100% impossible without deleting all my galleries.

I still feel that I will not even try to become a secondary producer damn it.
