I've had Sirius for a while now the service, not the stock. It's still to volatile as an investment and I think that the upturn in value wont happen for another six to eighteen months minmum when the Stern contract goes into effect.

Sirius has great content, and with Stern they'll have an advantage. I wouldn't bank everything on Stern's contract. There is a lot more to winning this game and it comes in terms of relationships with auto manufacturers and electronics manufacturers. One thing that burns me is that certain manufacturers align with certain providers, i.e. GM and XM Chrysler and Ford Sirius. Granted I'd never drive a GM vehicle but if I did have a lapse in sanity and did buy a GM car I'd want the option of Sirius.

Fortunately Mercedes-Benz uses Sirius.

With Sirius having the NFL, stern, and martha stewert all coming on board it's definately a good buy.

I just recently started watching the stock again. I wanted to try to get in just before the Stern hype really hits again but we all know how trying to time things out like this works.

I may wait for it to follow a big dip in the market and grab it as cheap as I can then.
