The 2005 Rocky Mountain Iron motorcycle rally will take place in the "Heart Of The Rockies." No one can ask for a more beautiful setting for an event such as this! Rocky Mountain Iron will be hosting its first annual event in Salida/Poncha Springs Colorado July 1st - 4th at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds.

Rocky Mountain Irons goal is to have an event in which everyone is welcome for a weekend of fun and relaxation with loads of entertainment, beautiful women, beautiful scenery, and a community that welcomes you! There will be give a ways throughout the weekend, tattoo contests, bikini contests, wet t-shirt contests, blooming buns in chaps contests, a biker rodeo and much more. A bike show will be held in downtown Salida, a poker run along with self-guided "Discover Colorado" tours. The "Sweethearts of the Rockies" will be modeling fashionable styles throughout the rally including lingerie, outerwear and leatherwear.

Bag lady Sue a well known comedienne within the motorcycle community will be the Mistress of Ceremonies the entire weekend along with performing her outrageously funny and bawdy comedy act which is scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, prior to the concert bands which will also rock the heart of the Rockies!

"Geneva" is scheduled Friday evening; her acclaimed musical style, energy and beauty have been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands across the country.
"Charlie Brechtel" will perform his original works inspired and dedicated to Americas last breed of folk heroes. There is a history, a legacy and a brotherhood that comprise the soul of the American biker, and Charlie?s style of music reflects those feelings.
"Desiree Leemets" whose ballads and voice will touch your heart, with her original country style of music Her performance will round out the rally concert festivities on Sunday night.

Surrounding cities including Salida and Buena Vista have invited all interested riders to participate in their 4th of July parades, and to enjoy the festivities of Independence Day.

RMI and its attendees will meet the world head on, this is being made possible through the use of cutting edge technologies and their Australian affiliates "ANYwebcam.com", the entire event will be broadcast live via the Internet to millions of viewers from around the globe! RMI wants to promote the idea of riding to CO all year round? Are you trying to kill us off or something?

They should consider doing it closer to Sturgis time, so people could just stop by on the way there.

That would rock. . . . and probably get a larger attendance.
