What do I need to get to expand my wireless routers distance?

I have a netgear wireless g router, but when I am out back it looses a lot of signal, probably due to the fact our house is solid brick and it has trouble grabbing a signal..

what can I buy to extend the signal of my wireless router? a new antenna? maybe something else that i put downstairs that syncs to my router up here and acts as a bridge or something?

what if I got some aluminum foil and made one of those nifty 50's style antennas off my regular antenna on the router? haha

cool, looking at the repeater now

if you can remove the antennas like you can on linksys' wireless points you can replace the antennas with any kind with the jack it uses, coax i think..
