This movie was GREAT

I liked this movie on SO MANY different levels.
This 5th edition is better than the very first Batman.

The Batman Franchise is ALIVE, it has been given new breath with Batman Begins. One of the first things I noticed with this film is that the STORY line is deeper, and different than the other Batman movies.

In this film Batman does battle with classic Batman foe Scarecrow.
I really like the scenes with Scarecrow and his special effects.

Lot's of action, fight scenes were not too lengthy.

Another plus for this movie is A LOT OF CHARACTHERS
There were a lot of faces in this movie, and a lot of dialogue

I think the gameplan for this line of Batman films is to keep the actor who starred as batman for the rest of the films, and I think Joker, Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Penguin (basically all the people that the previous films dealt with) are fair game to be included in the upcoming movies and the story will start fresh with them.

The batman movies in between this one and the first one really sucked compared to this one. Batman 2 was especially horrid, and Jim Carrey as the riddler arghhhhhhhhhhhhh (the agony of watching him ruin one of my favorite batman villians, Riddler was a cold calculating mofo, he wasn't some silly, comedic dude that Jim Carrey made him to be)

But anyway...

wasn't batman 2 with penguin? i realize it was batman returns and not 2, but it was pretty darn good, jim carey was in 3.

Platinum your right this movie have given the franchise some life for sure ...i was very impressed.. altho i knew it would be good didnt expect it would be this good .. and that batmobile is fucking crazy !

Just got back from it. Was a great movie with a good storyline. A definate must see!

the fact of being a better movie than the previous Batman movies (specially the one with Jim Carey...and the one with the guy from California) means nothing...as even a home made movie is better than those pieces of shit....
the 1st batman was ok...and so was batman returns, specially because of Michelle Pfeifer in the catwoman costume...
