I keep referring back to the post last month where someone accurately mentioned that "All Pay per signup programs seem to always use Paycom. All lowball revshare programs seem to always use CCBill. There's something to that."

While everyone cascades, it does seem true that the hotter, bigger, programs I've checked that are doing massive numbers feature Paycom in the primary spot. About 8 out 10.

This might be another GFY special, where small time webmasters who need hand holding are dominating the poll and are being vocal to try and help, while the big dog program managers who know the drill and are seeing the biggest revenue all silently sit on the sideline waiting for another drama thread to pass the time in instead of actually giving us this "big secret" lol

That's not entirely true. I see lot's of BIG guys voting for CCBill.

Which story is that? Cuz I hear back from them usually in under 5 minutes, with problem fixed...

Mako 06-16-2005 02:29 PM

My favorite is when Paycom customers log into GFY after getting no response from Paycom for over a day, bitch, then have Rand or someone else immediately login and say "GFY is not Paycom customer support, guy" with that exact smart ass tone.

Made me hesitate. While they're right, GFY isn't, they need to understand that sometimes it's all you've got baby. And it gets results, as the Paycom fast response on the board proved.

sonofsam: That would be great, keep us informed.

Nubiles 06-16-2005 02:32 PM

CCBill is the correct answer

Take into consideration that they probably assume you own a telephone, this being 2005 and all.

If all you got it GFY, I feel for ya...

If someone from either CCBill or Epoch has ICQ, can you please contact me?

chowda 06-16-2005 04:44 PM

i would think ccbill might be easier for other webmasters to just add their aff code and then promote ur stuff without going thru ur own affiliate software

did a bit ago, no response yet, hit me up when you have a chance at 45471840

Rand 06-16-2005 05:01 PM

Tranza - You've got me on ICQ now. Glad to know that someone from sales already got back to you.

Mako - There is a time and place for everything. Even going off. Anyone that knows me knows I'll go the distance to help anyone big or small. Some things, however, are just ridiculous. I address things publicly when it's called for. But there are proper channels for everything too. I'm not a smart ass, but I did have a point to make.

There are some things we do better than CCBill and visa-versa. A lot of factors go into what works best for your traffic. I always recommend cascading between the two of us. (Epoch as a primary, of course :winkwink:)

CCBill is a fine company and each program should do what works best for them.

I've been with Epoch since 1998. And so have a lot of the sponsors out there. This list could stand to be updated but it's a good place to start if you're looking for programs using Epoch.

Mako 06-16-2005 05:09 PM

Thanks Rand, good post. Could you shoot me an ICQ when you get a chance, I'd like to ask you a few questions.

Maybe the people who use Paycom are too busy actually doing work and don't waste on the boards?

I'm sure that's it.

More sites / companies use CCBill, I don't think anyone is going to argue that. Paycom process many of the larger clients.

JD 06-25-2005 05:53 PM

why not get something like netbilling?

VKLS Lutz 06-25-2005 07:22 PM

CCBill :thumbsup
In the past I was using Globill :( , Verotel and IBill.
Sales at Verotel were above average.

Overall CCBill is very, very good.

Never used Epoch for my own paysites. But I remember that I didn't like their stats as an affiliate. Didn't busty-amateurs.com use Epoch back in the good ole days? Damn, I can't remember anymore
