That's an interesting assumption when you don't even know how our database works or is setup.

Nice to see people getting it out there early.

I didn't remember that. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

Norman,

Regardless of the outcome tomorrow and whatever decision is going to come down in the 10th circuit court, it doesn't benefit us if we don't live in the 10th circuit court jurisdiction. If we bought the content and don't live in the 10th circuit court, we still have to follow the 2257 regs regardless of whatever ruling in 10th circuit court. This is based on the advice of my attorney and he has at length spoken to other attorneys in California as well. I tried to call you after I recieved your email stating that you are going to wait before giving access to the docs and but I could not reach you.

If an injunction is issued it will apply across the country.

beemk 06-16-2005 02:35 PM

no surprise here, i mean if you sold webmasters names and addresses to acacia im sure you wont have a problem giving out models info.

american pervert 06-16-2005 02:40 PM

It was yet another glorious day for the online porn industry when it turned out that several well-known businesses had caved in to Acacia. But it gets positively embarassing that the sponsors (some of them big enough they could much more easily have afforded a fight) get to post away without so much as a reminder, while people queue up to climb all over Matrix every time they appear here.

Trax 06-18-2005 10:17 AM

Good in general
I just wonder how acacia managed to "steal" all the private information. they must have good hackers working for them :)

No, just disgruntled employee. And it was not all. Only clients before a date that someone was terminated.

dodger21 06-18-2005 10:48 AM

All that is required is Date of Production, Stage Name, Real Name, and Date of Birth. As we read the new regulations that is what is required. Remember that we still will have or day in court and it's looking good for us. We are just being proactive to protect you the webmasters. If the regulations pass and they define what is required to encompass a total release, we will deliver. At this time it's to unclear and I'm not about to release social security numbers. With the information given proof that the models are not underage is clear.

It's not online. It's for your records as a producer and should be treated as sensative information.

MediumPimpin 06-18-2005 10:59 AM

Norm do you have this in a zip I will be here for years doing it this way.

Hit me up on ICQ and we'll get it to you!

Heywood Jablome 06-18-2005 02:55 PM

A dozen or so sets of mine only say 'TBA' , how long until all of the info is posted? Thanks

Mutt 06-18-2005 03:15 PM

they won't be able to hire a model in LA once the word gets out they're distributing non-sanitized model ID's. few girls are that stupid that they'll risk 1,000 idiots having their driver license for a $500 payday.

jimmycash 06-19-2005 04:21 AM

Norman,

Thank for the downloadable 2257 docs. But we also need to be sure with the Name of Producer/ Photogrpaher and the Producers Address. Can you please post the address to use and the name of the Producer you would like.

thanks,

Jimmy

CognitiveDissonance 06-19-2005 07:21 PM

Thanks, Norman!

Since Matrix won't distribute their model releases, is there another way to find a record of aliases that their models might have used?

For the producer please use Matrix Content.

Working on that. I would say 90% are what they are. Waiting for the FSC day in court to finalize what really is required.

WOW! Is that what you pay. Not near our rates. So let me get this straight. Many of these so called idiots are people on this board. Very nice. Here is another attempt of Mutt riding my coattail. Keep wishing you can achieve what I and Matrix has made. Hater! It's called the law. Mutt would rather all my clients go to jail. Must be great doing biz with you. Keep to your own posts and keep your stupid opinions to yourself.

We have 3 systems in place:
1. ID's with information blocked. Which we have provided since day 1
2. Full IDs. As the current law reads this is required. Waiting for the FSC day in court to see if 3 goes into effect.
3. Full Releases. With a click we can deliver!

We are taking this step by step. We are watching like hawks to what is going on. All Matrix clients will be complient to the letter of the law. Just waiting to see what it will be. Also everyone that obtains the records can be tracked and has to agrre to the following:

You ("CLIENT") are being provided model's ID and personal information with respect to photo and video works of models hired by Matrix Content, Inc., ('MATRIX'). The CLIENT acknowledges that MATRIX is providing such IDs and information pursuant to new regulations (28 CFR Part 75) concerning the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. 2257. The IDs and information is not to be used for any other purpose.

The CLIENT agrees to keep such information confidential and not to
disseminate the IDs or any information contained therein without the
prior written consent of MATRIX.

The CLIENT agrees to indemnify and hold MATRIX harmless as a result of any claims, costs or damages resulting from the dissemination of any such IDs or of any information contained therein without the prior written consent of MATRIX.

The Client agrees to destroy all IDs and information if deemed unnecessary concerning the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. 2257.

Click OK to agree to the terms above.
