Well, i'm all settled in my new house and i'm ready to get back to business!

As some of you know I specialize in building mainstream & adult blogs from the ground up. I personally build these blog by hand and spend a lot of time making them perfect, and it's quite apparant in the finished product.

Because of the personality I build for each blog, and the fact that each person's needs are different, there is no set pricing and each project is on a case-by-case basis.

Though my skill is not limited to the above. I build everything from simple, 99% text blogs, to ones like TeenieUpdate.

I accept only 2-3 projects at a time (depending on project size) and I already have one decent sized project in the works, so space is limited.

A ballpark price for a general, mostly text blog (with pic updates) is around $150. That price depends on a lot of things though, it can go up and down with each feature you want/don't want included.

Though I do offer services to build traffic up to your blogs (mainly link solicitation and including trading scripts if necessary) generally when I hand over a finished product, there is no traffic.

Now, when I build a blog I focus on SEs, which will become a great part of your incoming traffic stream. This includes custom perm link structures (if wanted) and an explanation of how best to go about doing updates while keeping SEs in mind. Of course this is included free of charge on all of my projects.

After a couple weeks of updates and niche link exchanges you will find your traffic increasing more and as more of your updates/pages start getting into the SERPs. You can expect about 1-2k or so after a couple weeks of doing updates. Of course, this traffic is extremely valuable and you will notice a much higher CTR than if you introduced skimming into your blog (sure, you would get to 50k pretty fast, but your conversions will take a nosedive).

A general, mostly text blog with pic updates with about 20+ quality niche link exchanges will grow quite quickly, and the traffic will be of very high quality.

My turnaround time is completely project dependant.
A simple 99% text blog will take me about 2 days flat, but the more advanced blogs can take a week or more.

As such, it's in everybody's best interest to contact me and personally discuss what you have in mind for a project so I can give you the most accurate estimates I can.

Please contact me if you have a project in mind. TeenieUpdate took me about 10 days to finalize the template, and quite a bit more time after that to tweak everything. TeenieUpdate is on the absolute end of the blog spectrum.

I really like the look of his blog, but I don't understand, if you're designing blogs why does every single one of them look the same? Shouldn't you just be selling a template instead of a design?

I was wondering the same. I guess there is maybe a bit more goes on behind the scenes, but the satisfied design is extremely close to the design that teenieupdate had when this was originally posted.

Don't get me wrong I like the design, it's real nice and looks great. But it seems to be more of a theme template to me than a design, since I've seen it multiple times now.

I'd like to see some of the other designs that aren't this same theme template.

It took me 6 days to break 1k, that was from the day I installed the script. It's pretty easy to get blog traffic. It takes me 1-2 days to install wp, build the design, change the css, add the ping sites, submit to directories, and 3 updates, then get some trades. At this point I updated 3 times a day during peak hour times.. A few days later you should break 1k uniques. Holding over 1k is the trick though.

i don't think he was saying that you would just break that 1 to 2, we're talking about having 1-2k a day in traffic and i can't see anyway of making that happen.

I don't have that many trades.. like 10 or so, I have a bit more directories but I haven't been listed on them all yet. I have about 25 ping sites though. Quality traffic wise I do fine, I average a sale a day.

To me it's like the old school traffic days. I add WP then I update, then I worry with design. I get listed on directories that list the fastest first, before I design. I always write down how fast they list me for later use, get listed on the fastest sites first and ping sites that respond the fasest. Research niche trades with sites that show to have traffic, not caring so much about PR. It's harder for me to hold and build on that base than it is to shoot up. If I time it all right the people that have traffic get traffic back and don't drop the trades.

Just so you all know, I had quite a few orders requesting a blog template similar to (or exactly like) http://www.teenieupdate.com - that is why some of my blogs look the same.

I just got finished my new template for TU - http://www.teenieupdate.com

DigiPimp, I built up TU to about 3k within two weeks - if you are posting constantly and acquiring good quality link exchanges you will continue to grow, and the traffic quality is very good and makes money. I'm not after numbers, i'm after $$$.
Also, quality trackbacks are a must.

Just so everyone knows, this thread is a little old - I don't do nearly as many blog setups anymore because I got a new job, but if you contact me I still may be able to get you in.
