Powerful people are more than often above the justice system. They are untouchable. You as individuals often excuse or justify the actions of someone just because you happened to have some relationship with him and here we are talking about someone with extremely high status and power. If you think the jury just saw the evidences and took a decision you live in Michael's dreamland. You can celebrate the fairness of the legal system every time it personally treats you as it should. Till then do not have much faith.

The problem is that even those willing to give him the benefit of the doubt can't really vouche for his innocence because Jackson doesn't realize that you can't sleep in the same bed as children without people wondering if anything more is going on between you and those children under the sheets. Any man sleeping in the bed with a child and it's reasonable to think that something more may be happening and it will be hard to prove or disprove either way. He does need a reality check.

So I don't think the whole world is out to get him, but those that are, are very vocal about it. And those that are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt find it hard to argue in his favor because not even they can say with any certainty that he's innocent, if they're being honest.
