1. An opinion is an opinion. If i could live anywhere, without worrying about money i would not chose America. But based on the oppertunities i have here, i would chose it any day.
2. I really hate that you see it that. There hasnt been a poll or survey showing how many U.S citizens have traveled the world. And you have to agree, it is a lot easier for someone in a small European country to travel all of Europe as it is opposed to someone like me living in California. I could get in a car today and travel up California for 5+ hours and still be in the same state, while you could travel the same direction and time and cross several COUNTRIES.
3. I speak English, Spanish, Russian, Belarussin. With some knowledge in Hebrew and German only because i have family that fluently speak it. Maybe one day i will learn more.

Only three other countries in the world behave like this - and all three would generally be regarded as either backward or oppressive - and not saying the US is backward :-) There are numerous other examples.. believe me, the list is extensive, - but, bottom line, it's down to what folks are willing to accept or have a comfort level to match what they consider freedoms.
