Statsremote is worth every cent, give them a break or just use their own board instead of blaming them in public...

What I actually miss in one of those stats programs is that it could even store the data for each of the sites in the affiliate program.

Another awesome feature would be that you could even get stats for one specific niche, and all the sites in that niche (from all the sponsor programs)
Easily showing you what site in what niche converted best and what site earned you the most per click, etc.

I could easily pay double of what Statsremote is charging at the moment ($29.95 I believe?) for that feature.

Maybe even more.

statsremote used to update a ton, but they seem very complacant these days which sucks when you have to wait 2 weeks with red squares. kinda defeats the purpose of the fee.

Unified stats, what the fuck...

Uninstalled it and now I get this shitty alert every 5 seconds:
"Database connection error: File bla bla bla bla does not exist Use connectionstring parameter new= bla bla"

If you added a bunch of stuff and it went to work getting your stats (which will always be a bunch more work up front - ie, getting historical data) ...and then uninstalled right after, apparently it attempted to continue to collect data once files were pulled from it.

Haven't seen this issue before, but thanks for letting me know as I'll get to work on a solution for this situation.

If you're still having issues, can hit me up directly anytime icq 241214664

If you haven't checked out UnifiedStats yet, do yourself the favor and do so now.

I made the switch from SR to US and couldn't be happier.

Firstly, we released an update today and all Friendfinder programs should work again.

Yes, that's what you pay a monthly fee for. We never stated that we do instant updates though. We got the first error report on Friday (June 10). As Friendfinder changed the stats of all their 25 different programs we delayed the update that was scheduled for this Monday and released it today (two days later).

I really don't know why you think we are complacent. We used to release weekly updates in the beginning but there were too many problems because we couldn't test everything properly. That's why we switched to bi-weekly updates some time ago. The problem is that most of the times programs don't just release a new stats system and then leave it alone. Usually it's like this... they release a new stats system and announce it. During the next days they find a few bugs and fix them. They also get feedback from their affiliates and change things according to this feedback, etc. Usually this takes a few days, sometimes it takes weeks. If we fix a routine right after a sponsor upgrades the stats, it's very likely that the routine doesn't work anymore the next day.

It seems like a few of our users have problems with some programs that use Executive Stats. For most people these programs work properly though. We already implemented a few custom routines because the stats don't have the same format for everybody. The only way to do that is if we have temporary access to the account that doesn't work properly though.

We are adding programs every day and have many features not available in other solutions...and we are the lowest priced on the market...

maybe give our free trial a shot for an alternative :)

Is there a special reason why you feel the need to spam your stuff in every thread about StatsRemote? Did you ever see us spamming our software when people reported a problem with RevStats. Did you ever see RevStats spamming their service when people reported a problem with StatsRemote? I could say a lot more but I bite my tongue :)

Just one more thing, there has been an alternative to StatsRemote for a very long time, I just mentioned the name in this post in case you haven't heard about them.

We usually start pretty much right away if there's a problem but we rather test things properly before we release an update then getting hundreds of error reports right after an update (a longer explanation can be found above).

You contacted us on May 24 telling us that you will change all your stats on May 25. We were ready to do the changes on our end for the StatsRemote update that was released on May 30. Somehow it took longer on your end though, but we still released a StatsRemote update only 5 days after you released your new stats system, so IMHO all is good :)

now, is this because i'm overseas or what? simple yes or no will suffice... if its no, whats the problem?

I don't think it's because you're overseas. I you can access your stats in IE, StatsRemote should work as well.

> adultfriendfinder
> platinumbucks
They changed their stats. We just released an update and they should work again.

> cecash
> porndollar
In the case of CE Cash and Porn Dollar programs you need to enter the actual account number of the program and not your default username.

> cashquest
You probably entered your 'old' username. When Cashquest switched to their new stats system they assigned you a new username. You can find this username at the top of your stats page. If you enter this username into StatsRemote is should work.

These programs should work. What happens when you click on the accounts in StatsRemote? Are your stats opened in your browser or do you get an error message or a login page?

Hey JB, love your program and I've been using it from day one.

Would you mind answering if this might be a feature to add, or is it just way too much work?

"Another awesome feature would be that you could even get stats for one specific niche, and all the sites in that niche (from all the sponsor programs)
Easily showing you what site in what niche converted best and what site earned you the most per click, etc.

Thanks!

The problem is that StatsRemote would need to make a lot more queries and read a lot more pages. Our users already produce a huge load on the stats servers of the affiliate programs though. Several program owners already contacted us because of that because their stats servers were really slow or even crashed. Some companies even blocked the IP's of several of our users.

We'd like to show more info in StatsRemote in general but we always need to find a reasonable balance between the benefit and the load it produces. It doesn't help anybody if more program owners block the IP's of our users or totally block access for StatsRemote.
