Quite an unlucky bunch. Although I have to question their intelligence. Sounds like they've thwarted the process of natural selection.

True story...

About a year ago when the lotto was like 300 million or some crazy shit, I ran into a local store to get some snacks. One of those 7-11 knock offs.

I get my pop and the lady (who was looking a mess with a crooked eye and just an overall look of disarray) asked me if I was buying a lotto ticket for tonight's bit draw. I told her no and went on to tell her how I read that a person has a better chance of getting struck by lighting than winning the lotto.

She leans in real close to me from over the counter (eyes going in 2 different directions) and says "Honey, I've already been struck by lighting... my chances of winning are damn good." (or something along those lines)

I laughed at her until she told me she was not kidding and got upset at the fact I thought she was BSing me. Once I realized that this poor fucked up looking woman was probably fucked up because of getting struck, I stop laughing and quietly left the store.

Now any time there is a large loto, I always tell a friend to go there to see if she is working and tell her the same lighting stats so they can hear the story. lol
