That song featured quite prominently in my fraternity's "Hell Week" initiation period back in college. It's interesting how the Doors' songs go from short (20th Century Fox, Hello-I love you, etc) to long and epic--The End and Riders in the Storm, etc.

The Crystal Ship is probably my favorite doors song ... but it's hard to choose.

Have you guys heard the American Prayer album? It's all Jim reading his poetry with tracks laid down in the bg by the rest of the doors after his death. I love "awake" from that album, among others ...
