    Ghost Cash *** 2257 Announcement

To all of our valued current and future affiliates.

I want to first thank everyone who has supported Ghost Cash over the years. Since 2000, we have tried our best to provide the best original niche content and service to our fantastic network of affiliates. We know with out you we would not exist, and are extremely grateful for your years of support. Barring any legal injunctions, 2257 will become effective June 23, 2005. Since Ghost Cash is fully compliant with the requirements of producing adult content, we want to help all of our affiliates do the same. All affiliates using the promotional explicit content of Ghost Cash are subject to the rules of 2257 as secondary producers of erotica. As such, you will be required to have, in your possession, the information needed to assure the federal government that the performers in the content are over the age of 18 years. We don't want to visit any of our affiliates in prison!

Therefore, effective June 15, 2005, all approved affiliates of Ghost Cash will have access to all materials required by 2257. We want you to be in full compliance and want every one of our affiliates to continue making money legally. Unfortunately, 2257 is a reality. But it will not change our commitment to conducting sound business and producing great niche content.

We value our models information and privacy, but we have to abide by the law. We do not want to penalize any of our affiliates, foreign or domestic. And we do not want you to change the way you conduct business. It's possible text tgp's are better. Maybe they're not. But you get to decide how you continue to conduct your business. After all, this is a business created from scratch by you. We're here to help support you and make sure it's done in the best possible way.

In summation, Ghost Cash is conducting business as usual. All of our sites will remain 100% active and compliant. Affiliates wanting to use explicit promotional material will be required to be responsible for the recordkeeping requirements for 2257. Affiliates that do not want this burden are still able to promote Ghost Cash using non explicit means.

Please continue to check our TOC page detailing changes to policies in accordance to complying with laws and regulations.

Please contact [email protected] or [email protected] with any questions or suggestions or on how to become an approved affiliate. We are here to help during this crucial transitional period.

    Thank you,
    Tony and GhostCash_CC

And the rest of the team at Ghost Cash

If you send us 100,000 hits a day, your 1st born and a DNA test, you'll be approved. Just kidding. Pop me over an e-mail at and we'll get you approved. If you're a current affilliate, just let me know who you are. If not, a quick introduction and a week probationary period will suffice.

Let us make you some money!

I bet a lot of models are going to get out of the biz because of this. What girl in their right mind would want all their info going out publicly with all the freaks out there.

Don't you mean "I can't believe the government would risk the safety of it's citizens by enacting a law such as this". That's what this comes down to. Blame the lawmakers... Not those who follow it.

                  Great news to hear Tony.

This law is also damaging because many companies will now seek oversea billing solutions, hosting, banking which will eventually effect the US economy.

Anyone who has done their homework knows that the adult industry generates more money than baseball, basketball, and football combined.

One thing to keep in mind is this information has been readily available in the pro adult production world for years and hasn't caused a problem. Might there possibly be a problem with the releasing of the information? Maybe. But the inference that Web based operation are incapable of conducting professional business is insulting to all established affilliates.

That's why we are approving those accounts who will be able to access the 2257 information for use of creation of explicit galleries and promotion. The information is not accessable to the general public.

You would think but I highly doubt it, most girls do porn not as a career path but a need to make lots of cash . You know maybe the doj knew for the most part we are decent people and would want to protect models. This is a way to get rid of alot of free porn without doing much.

Yeah, im sure we will see a ton of ebooks on ebay for 4,95$ with all 2257 info of models soon to , ppl trading models info on irc, forums, etc etc

If a movie like s-tar w-ars can get a leak direct the first day out from their own studios , imagine the nightmare about models info.

Seriously, this law is completly retarded for models privacy

Maybe but sponsors giving the docs to affiliates is only the same as content brokers and primary producers giving docs to people who buy their content.

The only thing that has changed is that there will be more webmasters with the info than before.

Everyone can get a affiliate account in a few mins , webmaster or not

You know how some ppl are .. if there is a market to sell this info , someone will do it. Difference , now its free for them, dont need to buy a content set to get the info. Just need to get all affiliate program where he can get this info.

I dont think it will be that extreme, most porn watchers want to sit home and jerk off , are either married or socially shy or just horny. They are not all going to be to getting up chase models.

Well to pervent that Business is going to have to become more closed, its very open now anyone who wants to jump in can with very little money upfront. That will have to change our industry will have to mature. I also think you can sell hardcore without showing everything up front. When our tour went basically nonnude our sales went up dramatically.

No problem Crypt. We are just like everyone else where as the law sucks and will not do what it's supposed to be for: Eliminating child pornography. The government likes to lump the adult business in with criminal acts every chance it gets.
