Have a little non-industry question.
I recently picked up a P4 to run some calculations here at work. Problem is this - the smp kernel is using the HT technology to distribute only 50% of the processor power to the single process. Is there any way to bypass this, install a non SMP kernel etc? Any tips for tuning? I'm kinda bummed out here. |
