I don't have a mentor per se. I look up to different people for different reasons and try to incorporate the features that I like about them into myself.

That's a long article about Kirk, I'll try to read it sometime. He's clearly led a fruitful life. It's nice to see somebody being able to enjoy what they do at his age.

What is it about him specifically that you look up to over other wealthy men?

I look up to my Father (may he rest in peace). His birthday would have been tomorrow. He worked his ass off for decades to provide a better life for his family . He did the right thing because it was the right thing to do. He passed on his learned lessons to his kids even when we wouldn't listen, they eventually all turned out to be true. Work hard, treat people the way you want to be treated. Never give up. And always be there for your family. So I'd have to say I look up to my pops the most.

I don't think its the wealthy part I look at, I look more at where they came from, how they got started. The moves they make. The Empires they create.
More of the business side of things. People take chances and sometimes they are for the good and sometimes it back fires on them.

Money is cool but after a while its just a numbers game for these guys, its more about the power and business moves that amaze me and interest me.

I can relate you. Just the way you sound here sounds like he did a great job with raising you. They are always right even when we doubt them, that was in my case too. I was just way too young to realize it then.
