whats the cost of living down there nowadays?
I am thinking ofm oving back I dont live like a king so i am guessing my rent ( yes I still rent ) would be ranging from 700-1000$ monthly what are utliitys n such like ?

In Houston, things are still fairly cheap to the rest of the country... 700-1000 should get you a nice place...

buddy is buying a house in San Antonio.. 3 BR, about 2K sq ft. for 120K.. 1100 a month, with ins. and taxes included.

San Antonio - you can count on about $200 or less for electric
not sure on apartment rentals because we own our home .. I'm sure google could come up with a list of them for you. Austin - a bit more expensive for rentals I'm sure and its grown HUGE over the past 10 years. Dallas burbs are a bit pricey Corpus will run 1200 a month rental I'm sure but outter areas cheaper depending on how far you go down the line lol Houston .. no idea
