myspace stock

MIX the symbold for myspace. Thy plan on doing a ipo of myspace as a spinoff.. Get on board this rocketship, this site is rocking in the top 10 of all sites on the internet. Still very small market cap.

Its a bit of a thing to note that my IWM small cap index is my leader in % today.. that has not been the case in quite a while.. QQQQ and IGN have been leading the way.. followed by eem and ewz....

Intersting wonder if a shift is beginning to occur

Hey Mike, thanks for that tip a few months ago about SIRI. I already dumped it (and fuck!) but I had to get off e*trade, they were driving me nuts with bullshit fees. I gotta reopen a new brokerage account with someone else now!

Hey Lars,

How do the myspace financials look? I've always been curious about their monthly revenues because they could do a lot better with that site.

Interesting Article:

http://biz.yahoo.com/bizwk/050603/b3...z063.html?.v=1

Quote:
Intermix Media Inc., a publicly traded tech company, owns just over 50% of the company. But Intermix is unlikely to be able to issue debt or equity because New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer is suing the company for allegedly installing software for pop-up advertisements onto people's computers without their knowledge. MySpace, which won't discuss its financials, could go public itself or sell out to a larger company if it needs capital.

none that I would ever post or tell anybody else.

I would never touch Intermix. Especially not with such a high volume that Lars has aggregated. He holds a third of the daily average. Will be more than tough for him to stop loss at a reasonable price.

some reasons why I would never buy mix:

- They did already sell 50 % of their MySpace stake to Redpoint Ventures:

http://www.intermix.com/about_press_...19&startrow=22

- Spyware or not ?

http://www.intermix.com/about_press_...739&startrow=1

and the only way they made it to the stock exchange was via a reverse merger with a broke motorcycle company.

so one should not speculate on a MySpace spinoff but the result of the upcoming lawsuit.
