How do I check if a domain has been banned from google?

start by typing domain.com in the search box ;)

site:domainname.com

You get a better view of what's up and what's not

If you're not there then it doesn't mean you're banned it could be something technical.
Google doesn't ban a site for nothing though...
If you aint there no more then you may know why

i have a site that has no reason to be banned

and it should have been indexed long ago..
it's online for like a month or two and i did a lot of link exchanges

site:<your url> shows all the pages from your site that are indexed by Google. If nothing shows up then it's either not indexed or you were banned. Probably the latter.

i didn't submit

i do have many incoming links to it from sites that are indexed on google

loks like its a used domainname you bought right? if it is, the prev. user might have spammed, and that way gotten blacklisted... you can write to google if that is the case

i registered it for the reg fee, but it may have been used before..

because when i registered it the .net was taken already and the .com was available.

anyone actually succeeded in this once? i mean writing to google about such situation and having the domain indexed thanks to the complaint?
