We are excited to announce that we are in final beta testing on our 2257 records storage solution. This is a Windows based software system to keep track of any and all records relating to the recently released regulations.

We expect to be ready for Public Release of our primary versions of the system by Friday or Saturday. Anyone interested in the Beta version can contact me at admin AT 2257ware DOT com.

The software is rolling out in two basic versions, a free version (very small ad supported) and a paid version ($30.00US). As much as I would like to give it away, I need to recoup some of my investment and future updates and support aren't free for me, so... What little I am asking for the paid version I think is fair for what you will be able to do with the software.

More information can be found here... www.2257ware.com or you can e-mail me for information and access to a Beta copy of the software. Basically you can enter all of your basic data into the system and cross-reference that data by any and all ways described by the new regs. This is a very simple to use system, not cluttered with pretty graphics or un-needed overhead (as far as procedures).

We will be updating the website with more information as we get some more screenshots of the application and some more feedback from our current Beta-testing team.

The file is linked to a location on your hard-drive, and we will add network access also.

Should be done tonight or tomorrow, we are adding some last minute things to make the database tables play nicer and neater with each other. And yes, it is Windows based. 98SE/ME/2000/XP Home and XP Pro are all supported.

And Matt I wanted to clear up the pricing structure as it has changed a little. After talking with several people who are far more experienced in marketing software, avid supporters of the FSC, and some pretty good sized program owners, I have decided to change the price from $30.00 to $50.00, $20.00 of which will be donated to the FSC for use with the growing legal battle ahead.

So to be clear, the Paid version is now $50.00 ($30.00 for the software and $20.00 for the FSC) and it is a ONE TIME FEE, not a monthly recurring charge.

If this change offends anyone I apologize in advance, I did not have the alignment with some bigger industry voices I have now at the time of my original thread, and as we get closer to the 23rd the FSC needs all the help they can get. If someone really cannot afford the extra $20.00 I will work with you to make up the difference, you just need to send me an e-mail.
