Still remember hitting my first jump when I was 5 years old.

Also remember breaking my wrist in three places attempting my first double a few years later.

Nothing like flying thru the air like that.

Used to jump a 20 foot (approx.) table top jump on my old Can Am enduro bike, haha. No mono shocks, no nothing like modern bikes have lmao. Crazy fun. Gotta be in great shape to ride day after day.

Was fun as hell though when I was a kid.

Once my buddy and me were heading to the quarry to ride, and a cop was waiting for us (It was a constant battle for them as there were 10 or so of us who would ride through fields and cross backroads all summer long). I saw him as I came out into the clearing and turned back but my buddy got grabbed by him when he turned in the creek and dragged the guy through the mud before he lost his grip! Man he drove with lights flashing all up and down my street but he didnt know we were in the garage already shitting our pants waiting for him to go away so we could take another route and go riding! LMAO.

My mom was pissed but was cool about it. Oh to be young again. :1orglaugh


Almost tops one of my brothers stories of when a cop smelled "reefers" in the car he was in and upon finding a bong, held it up to look inside (like a telescope) for the "reefers" he smelled and dumped the dirty water all over his uniform.

I tell ya, growing up in the 70's was like living on another planet compared to today!

Funny thing is, I have been riding since I was 12 and now that I am 36 I am hitting the biggest jumps ever. Shouldn't I have done these when I was younger.

I'm not in great shape, I try racing these guys around the track and on lap two, I am out for a break. These youngsters have some energy.
