you don't have to put in your name.. every lead that gets sent in (100-120 per day) are reviewed by a person.. regardless if a name or email is included.

most CP reports don't have a name or email and they are just as valid as if someone did put one on.

Your IP is not logged either... (i should know, i built , coded, and operate the server/service).

I read chad's post on the other board, and i'll chat with him about it..

Think in the end you can't for sure be anonymous. Always a risk that you could be dragged into court if there is a way of finding you out. Email leaves tracks.

Something about a person having the right to face his accuser comes to mind. Remember the constitution? I know it's fading fast. If the perv has $$$ and an expensive attorney then there is more of a chance

I'm not saying don't report the SOB. When anyone gets accused of CP, I think there is a rush to judgement. So be sure and then email in.

I also think telling an attorney and having them report it may give you some protection. How much, I'm not really sure. I'm not an attorney (thank god).

I got a spam yesterday with a cp link.
I looked up the host it was Yahoo.
I called yahoo no answer call back during business hours.
I mailed them about it and nothing had happened yet so I called them told them the story and then was told something I couldn't understand I guess the outsourced support person didn't speak English to well.

Surfers have been reporting suspect CP to ASACP since 1996. Please review the ASACP Stats - http://www.asacp.org/statistics.php. ASACP send validated CP sites to the FBI, NCMEC and other revelent international hotlines.

People asked ASACP to be more proactive. Therefore, ASACP now sends company specfic reports to Yahoo and a few domain registrar.
