You see this is an advertising concept that can be used anywere and it hasn't died. In fact there is regular TGPs that use TGP2 galleries. People are still making money.

What's the biggest TGP2 currently ?

The biggest on the tgp2base list is 600 hits a day.

I never could understand when the movement first started why everyone would use tgp2 in the name of the site, like they were telling the surfers what was going on.

I can't even tell you what the biggest is because I don't know. It gets more than 600 though, that I assure you. tgp2base is now, for the most part, simply the submission form for our rotator database. If it was the toplist you were talking about, that is only a handful of tgp2 sites and those counts are merely toplist in / out counts for the month (and yes those numbers are low, but most don't trade traffic so those are hardlink clicks remember).

I agree about not naming sites tgp2 something or other, but as a webmaster tool, it is fine. Very few tgp2 / hybrid sites even say tgp2 in them anymore however.

For those that hate it, or think it is funny... laugh and hate on. Those that have had good experiences with tgp2 will continue to do so.
