It has been suggested in posts that we get behind the idea of supporting the creation of a safe zone on the internet for children under the ".kids" domains.

This would protect the children by giving them a safe place, keep the adult sites from being forced into an xxx ghetto, protect free speech for adults, and stop VISA and MC from total control of our industry based on URL.

There is big money behind the push for the xxx domains with offers of cash and control. The FSC will be addressing this power grab of our free speech rights. Please see us at the Cybernet Expo next week and tell us what you think about the issue.

great idea..
instead of blocking us from kids block them from us. Thats the better solution.

Great idea but if it becomes popular there will be a lot of sites. And there will be people who are going to put porn sites on those domains. And there's nothing you will be able to do about them, besides blocking the domain.

What will stop people from buying competitors .xxx domains? Like if I wanted to buy say www.Adult.xxx, what's to stop me from 'reggin that? I know I would lose it in a suit, but there will be mayhem if this goes through and some people are sleeping.
