				 | House of NanKing is good, but the owner, Peter, can sometimes be a dick. There's a place a few doors down...Brandy Ho's, and it gives Peter a run for his money. Stay away from Fisherman's Wharf. There's a "China Town for locals" in the Richmond...about 2nd Ave and Geary to like 15th Ave...it's non-tourist and has great Chinese food. Italian food -- North Beach Pizza. Also The Golden Spike. Joe's is across from all the strip joints on Columbus, and it's got pretty good chow, too. Walk the Golden Gate bridge. There's a walking tour of ChinaTown that's pretty interesting. Check out City Lights to see where Jack Kerouac and crew hung out. Cable cars are fun. Haight Ashbury is cool. Muir Woods if you wanna get out of the city. That's all I can think of for now... |
