Do you just want to be different or something? |
You'd think the reactionaries would love Nietzche since they salivate over Ayn Rand so much. Both discredited within their discipline but they give such great excuses for bad behavior their fame will never die.

are you saying the US is not it debt? republicans have fucked up the country. clinton had that shit under control and had a 200 billion dollar surplus when he left office. the deficit now is almost 8 trillion dollars to pay it off every US citizen would have to pay 28 thousand dollars each The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $1.67 billion per day since September 30, 2004 |

I'm a capitalist and so are you. What's wrong with attacking commies? I don't care if the failures of communism are a liberal or conservative argument. It seems pretty clear to me that is what has happened. If conservatives just happen to be right about commumism; so be it. If the commies make a comeback I'll happily admit it. The specter of Adam Smith is lording over Marx' grave. I'm liberal and conservative - depends on the issue. For example; I'm mostly liberal on capital punishment, abortion, civil rights and most recently social security. I'm mostly conservative on defense spending and prison sentences. I'm conservative in the sense that I am less in favor of change than for it. I'm liberal in that I think the government interferes too much in people's personal lives. In reality, I am not even clearly on one side of the fence on most of the big issues. There are good arguments all around if you ask me. Now, the answer to your question. US webmasters are something like 80% liberal. Non US webmasters are something like 95% liberal. So in any debate there are many more voices on the liberal side and thus many more points worth debating on that side. It's boring in a 20-1 to jump on the 20 side. But you missed 12 Clicks and I debating social security a few weeks ago. |

great britain up until world war II is guilty of everything you acuse the states of on every level. do we need a history lesson here? :1orglaugh im not amazed at the ridiculous things the right wing say, because theyre a ridiculous group of people. but what amazes me is when laws are passed and judges are nominated that are conservsative and most americans dont give a shit or dont know whats going on. im well aware of what the rest of the world thinks of americans and america but youve got to understand (which im sure you do) that goverment is NOT represenitive of its people and that goes for every nation on earth... cheers |

If I managed to write a book that ended up on that list I would have a celebration party.
|
This is silly. Books aren't harmful, its idiotic people who act on those ideas.
