Real Estate is an awesome investment right now in Costa Rica, and in most areas still available rather cheaply. I know some people who bought land only 2-3 years ago and it's now worth 3-4x as much, and still rising :thumbsup

In the region around Los Suenos, you can prob get a nice, huge place (with land) for maybe 100-150K

yes you can set a company up in costa rica. very easy actually and i can talk to you more in jaco. what you do with that company is your business, but if you are a us citizen and living in the us, i dont think its worth the risk. again, thats your business...

I came down here to focus on real estate. the market is kinda flat right now, which is actually good. it is going to be very hot for the next 5-10 years. a word a caution, you have to know what you are doing. there's titling issues, environmental issues, engineering, etc... it's getting a lot better any very safe as long as you know the process. You can get some really good deals if you know where to look. I have contacts at one of the largest banks that send me forclosures before they clear the court. if you are patient you can pick stuff up cheap. also if you know what you are doing you can build here for 30-40 a square and thats building very close to US standards not a shack.

if you want to chat we can hook up in jaco

The activities should mostly or all be sponsored, so it will not cost you a cent. As well, we are working on getting you dirt-cheap rates for the hotel, 50% of their normal pricing :winkwink:
