As many of you know already....
One month ago today I went into the hospital...
I had been feeling great...
I had been exerting myself alot - working in the yard, garage, on my Cars and RCBoats...
and then My life got a curveball
I was out running RCBoats on Sunday May1
was having a great day and I was going to set a National 2-lap record.
(my first run I was .017 secs off the record)
then I went pee
I almost fainted...
Solid blood was pumpin outta me instead of urine.
only two words came to mind
H O S P I T A L NOW !!!
My boating friends sat me down.. loaded up my truck and trailer and
drove me home.
ZOOOOM
to Hospital.... a couple hours later... a couple of tests later..
an then 2 catscans...
and Urologist comes in and tells me I have a tumor... in my right kidney
and my kidney is comin out !!! He says hes pretty sure the tumor is cancer and he aint even gonna test it for fear of spreading it.
Surgery went well..
Doc said tumor was young , small and contained and all came out with the kidney
When I woke from surgery I could not feel my left leg
next day.. same thing.
Tests done and Docs tell me a nerve musta been pinched due to my position on the operating table.
Today
Im doing very well..
my incision is almost healed
and my leg is doing better. It still has some numbness and shooting pains but it seems to be getting better each and every day.
I cant wait to be 100% again and go get on my quad and/or watercraft and tear it up at the river!!
