if you've figured it out, why does it "suck"

TGP is probably the longest running successful porn story.. since the beginning it's been there and still alive and kicking today. if it sucks so much, why are there still plenty of TGPs? why are there still plenty of submitters? that's right.. because it works! TGP2 never lived up to it's potential and probably never will.

i'm not saying it's the best converting traffic.. mostly due to the clueless webmasters that try to sell the paysites they promote as "free".. but it makes money and is just another source of traffic and revenue.

Probally for the same reason millions of people each year still spend $39.95 to find out how to make millions of $ from their one bedroom apartments using tiny classified ads.

I been there browsing man. Looks real good but the network that will be built on my end are as I feel it a little more agressive then the normal tgp2 site rules...but maby I am worng.

And we got the forum setup for this whole oldschoolt concepts...

All working interlinked. We are starting to grow a nice little clan at my forum so I think in say 6 months or so this will be fucking kickin ass!

We are gonna suply all people who want in with everything they need to get started including scripts and directions and guidence how to proceed.

Like I said before..this is my own little crusade and if I can change the mind of a few people to follow this idea I will be happy.

Btw...I just got contacted by one of the big players in the industry about this idea...intressting :)

Just curious, I like the TGP2 concept. And I honestly do believe in it. People might be calling it dead, but many do call the non nude scene dead as well.(18+) While it's not.

Anyway, the problem I had at the time, that I only got like 2-3 joins a day. The conversions were good indeed. But 2-3 a day was not enough for me. I tried some things, however, the traffic in the pool at that time was very limited. And I good not increase the amount of joins.

Is this changed already? Just curious, you can also hit me up on ICQ, if you don't wanna discuss this in public

the TGP2 concept was good in theory.. but most encounted what you did.. low traffic which resulted in low sales.. no matter how good conversions are.. converting zero in zero is zero! most felt the time they put into it was not worth the little sales they did get..

TGP2 and non-nude sites is not necessarily dead.. it's just not active with a lot of support.. if you have your own sites and traffic.. you can do whatever you want.. :winkwink: it's just not approved by the big TGPs

i have nothing against TGP2.. it would be great if there was more support.. but the reality is you WILL NOT be getting big traffic from the big TGP guys to your TGP2 galleries and non-nude sites.. without traffic, you got no sales..

I also know what killed it back then and it was not just low traffic.

And yes this time around things will be different.

I dont think the hun takes tgp2 style galleries today...he require at least 10 pictures if im not wrong...
He might let you have them on html though...

Sounds great. Glad to see you as jazzed about Tgp2 as the reat of us Tgp2 webmasters at Tgp2 Base.

Perhaps we can work together on some of this. We have been doing simular stuff as your crew. We've been doing Tgp2 since the begaining in July of 2001. We have tried almost everything and know what works and doesn't work. Toplist, Picpost and the such are great sources for traffic.

One thing everyone forgets is traffic can be bought and sent to Tgp2 sites and galleries. It does pay off. It sure more sense then buying a gallery spot and making little or no sales.

Tgp2 simply converts better then the industry norm. So no traffic isn't as big a factor as everyone thinks it is. If you can't get it then buy it! Duh.

Yes rayzor that is exactly what I think!! Think about what you wrote they pay on the tgp2 site to see all the pics. On your kind of sites they see it all for free get off and next time they want to get off they go back to one of your sites and do it all over agin.like they say "Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free." That is why the conversion rate is better for tgp2.

tgp2 was a good idea, however the problem of having pics on html pages leads to cheating since no tgp scripts have a way to check.

I understand you are saying to make and list your own galleries but then you won't have the variety i think to keep surfers coming back (either in content or in gallery designs).

The big problem tgp2 had before was it got split into 2.

Tgp2 galleries are easy to check. You only have five pics on html pages, Not 15 to 40 pics per gallery.

On the other, yeah there was a split between two secs of Tgp2. Who was at fault? Not sure. But it should have never happened and was a blow to the knees for Tgp2. But that was the past not the here and now.

Tgp2 today is a united group of dedicated, like minded, smart working webmasters with the same goals and purpose in mind.
