Is the Enom DNS service down?

Anyone else using Enom's DNS facilities finding that their domains are not resolving for the past hour or so?

--- Agent Reply: Amin Taheri - 5/30/2005 10:43 PM --- Hello, Replication across databases in dns was completely down for the last 12 hours - updates to zone files for any record type did not take effect, and are slowly starting to. That means any change - including from reactivation of expired domains, setting parking, zone file updates, setting or changing URL forwarding, changing host headers, and even some name server changes were delayed. This stemed from someone taking advantage of the a new 45-day free .name trial period and that the slowdown is due to us adding 1 million host records to the main database and then having that replicate to over 15 dns servers, so it is taking a while for the information to get propagated to our dns constellation Thanks for your patience and understanding. Amin Technical Support www.enom.com/help ICANN Accredited Registrar cheers, Luke |
