You could find the smallest street in the city and there would be a little cafe there. That is the problem here. We pulled the muslim community into our country some decades ago (because there was too much work and too little people to do it) and we failed to give those people a propper education. A big part of the muslim community felt left out of our society and anger amongst those people began to grow. Of course we denied this problem being a problem and that was how the situation escalated.
That's the situation where we are in now and I think it will be very hard to solve. A lot of the younger generation muslims here do not have any respect for the dutch society. And actually I don't think that you can blame that all on them. Anybody who feels left out of a society will have problems respecting that seem society.
I think the upcoming years will be some rough ones in Holland.Comment

Last time I visited Amsterdam, I rented an apartment from a 30 year old muslim guy. The apartment had porn and alcohol in it, and he was a regular at the pot smoking "coffee shop" across the street.

watched a story on a norwegian news channel the other day.. the story was that basically tons of dutch people moved to norway due to high crime in holland... norway was about 20 years behind so that wanted a better living up here..
