    Canon 10d vs rebel XT

    I'm going to be buying my first DSLR camera soon and I'm debating on what to buy.. I like the 20d but I would imagine it's more camera than a noob would need.

    So I was looking at the 10d because the prices have come way down on them..So out of the two which would be the better pick for the first time DSLR user?

    I would imagine quite a few guys still use the 10D as it's obviously still a great camera.. So my thoughts are how does the XT stack up to the 10D other than the higher mega pixels?

    Or should I just say the hell with it and buy the 20D.. Those with experience do you think I would out grow the others? My plans are to do hobbyist photography and shoot some models from time to time..

      save the extra money and go with the 20d .You will grow into it

              I got the XT and am loving it a lot... but, to be fair, I haven't gotten to play with the rest.
              I did my research on digitalreview and dpreview and some other sites and the XT was for me. It might not be for you, it might be... just do your research.
              Opinions are great but in the end, only you will know which is best for you.

                  Great camera if you have lens for it. Buying a dslr is all about the lens one already has.

                  If you have no lens buy the cheapest body and invest in lens then upgrade.
