Math and visual memory are stronger in men. There are always exceptions / there will always be women, (and this is also of course possible in the reverse for other attributes) where a woman is better than math than 95% of the population.. all depends on genetics of your brain becomes formed; 98% genetics, 2% environmental of how you'll turn out.

about the only thing mathematical about poker is doing simple probability. and if you claim there is anymore math invloved than knowing there are 52 cards in a deck and 4 of each number, you are retarded. poker is randomness combined with the ability to bluff and draw poeple in. NOTHING MORE THAN 2nd GRADE MATH IS REQUIRED AND NOTHING MORE THAN IT IS USED!

When you get to an intermediate / advanced level math plays a huge roll in determining your moves. More specifically pot odds, implied odds, and the odds you will make your hand.

Go buy some books or read www.twoplustwo.com and you'll see there's more math involved than most people think.

Actually you can try and read other people... makes it a bit more complicated then calculating 1 vs 1 odds ;) but still not university math ...
