I'm Designing Adult Blog Software ~ Ideas?

I've decided to build my own adult blog software. What features should it have? The more info you give me, the better it will be. Also, please include examples.

It will be all PHP, I can make it both dynamic and static.

BTW, it's going to be free to all, if people help with testing and giving me ideas.

What do you think you could offer adult webmasters that the others cannot? Do you have at least one feature that adult webmasters would want? Please clarify.

The features are for you to give me (in terms of making it more for adult blogging). I can code anything. I do all the programming for my own sites and have for over 10 years.

As for the basic of blog features, that's easy. It's just publishing. But my goal is to make this more for us, not the whole blogging community.

Example... a feature for publishing galleries with your entries.

Yes, galleries with entires would be great. and then be able to insert sponor shit in certain areas of the gallery. Like babes.coolios.net does with their hosted galleries. You should look at the top adult blogs and just take those features and use them for your software. By the way, do you do custom programming for clients? I need some work done..shouldn't take but a few hours.

Yes, I do custom programming, but it depends on the size. I normally don't take small projects.

Mainstream software like wordpress and movabletype are for all people wanting to blog. I want to make something that includes features adult bloggers would use. Like the example I included above, gallery publishing, sponsor promotion, maybe gallery ratings, etc.

I dont see a difference. Wordpress is the easiest. I allows for date maniplulation and it allows you to type TEXT TEXT TEXT

If you want to do all that gallery shit go start a TGP script. Just my opinion

I don't know what they're using for their blog. If they created something custom, that means I don't know how their "backend" works (in terms of functionality). Before you code something, you have to design the functionality. That is the part I'm looking to get ideas for.

Yeah, I was just thinking that; making thumbs. The flash thing you'll have to get someone else to make.

As for trading, I want to make it so you can use whatever script you're using. Making it so you can include a require tag in the template.

Better link management than Wordpress (i.e. category links instead of having your links show up on every page).

Heres one that would rock. Have a list of keywords that are automatically converted to links. So for example im posting about a hot nubiles girl. Rather than hunt down the link i want inserted the script could just parse the word "nubiles" with a built in link to their site with my ref code.

Ideally the end user could set up unlimited keywords and have them linked to whatever url they wanted of their choosing through an admin interface.

For ex: natural breasts, cumshots, etc... basically any keyword where there is click value.

Correct and no. In a few months, it will be 11 years, though I started programming way before the web came along.

Set the timestamp to somewhere in the future and mark publish.

Man im sorrry for the wasted time. There is no plugin. Just type in 30 entries, go to advanced setting and edit the time stamp

And if you say advance the timestamp a day ahead and push post, then tomorrow at that momment it will post the entry automattically.

Why not have a 2257 syndication system that sponsors would feed into along with their FHG links etc? This could be a revenue stream for you as well if you think about it. Plus if you execute it right it would make blog building a snap for your blog members.

Programming is extremely easy. One of the easiest things I've learned. BUT just because you know it like the back of your hand doesn't you can design the best applications in the world. Suggestion:
Advanced submission form, use CAPTCHA if possible. Submission for tips, galleries, content etc have option for upload of certain types of files etc for exclusive content. The one thing that blog can have that TGPs dont is internal content that gets people linking to you.
