1.2M Sony PSPs have been sold, I've been wondering if pre-formatted 480x240 PSP-encoded movie clips (which is a bitch for the common PSP owner to do) would be something that might be desirable next year once 3M+ of them are in people's hands.

Not as a stand alone site or sales point, but as another feature of a traditional paysite. Also thinking the same thing about 720p true HD scenes, maybe 20 or so. Just another thing to help retention and diversify versus competitors that really doesn't cost more money.

Yeah a good friend of mine has been trying to get us to do that. I'm still on the fence personnally.

If people really start using them as a web tablet of sorts it might work. Might be a neat differentiator even if it isn't highly profitable?

do you have to do the billing or can somebody just use your software/services to make their content mobile ready without you being the biller? what % of the subscription fee are you charging? break down where the money from a subscription goes.

That says nothing about volume.. im pretty sure those fuckers playing with their phones do a few adult searches. Thats something totally different than paying for it and being a stable market.

It will take at least another 3 years before this shit wil take off.. and until that day you should consider it as a niche market and we all know there is money to be made there for certain individuals.

I think it would be a good way to promote something like a strip club. People could sign up to be notified any time a new dancer joins that house and get a photo of that girl on their cellphone so they can go straight to her when they get to the club.
