what a handsome perfectly glowing angel man he has become, at 34...
last night we had dinner at a very nice restaurant with Halcyon's family (mom, dad, brother and sister-in-law) and before this occured at 8 o'clock just down the street i felt i had to get a few different gifts in order for my beautiful angel man. i locked myself in the spare bedroom with things like wrapping paper,scissors, glue sticks, tape, etc. and the things i was wrapping, of course. everything involved in the actual wrapping was pink. i don't know why, but i've always taken more pleasure and care in the preparation of a gift than the actual gift itself. i do have a few yet left to give wherein the gift IS the prepared 'wrapping', if you will.
but for tonight, one special silver star shaped necklace with "Halcyon" engraved on the front with the gemini symbol (a man and woman in this case) and on the back "Tassy's Daddy." i cried profusely as i gave it to him just in time to take a quick shower and put on a face since i'd been playing with preparing these things...the necklace came with a old key and an old silver ring with hearts on it i've had forever tied together with bright pink string ~ a symbol of him having the key my heart. the necklace i put on the same bright pink type of string and in a satiny red bag it came shipped in, inside a black velvet bag i had, inside a white satiny bag with glass beads, glitter, and white sparkly opalescent ribbon shreds. like i said, something about the details.
then there were all the framed pictures of Halcyon and grandpa caleb and other various people who've been around for tuesday's at grandpa's and a couple very amusing pics of Halcyon and his bro i put in frames that matched. all of this with more pinkg wrapping i won't bore you with MORE details about. onto the pics, before dinner we snapped a few, i wish corporate america had had men in suits with pink hair, i might have actually stayed. wait, i wouldn't want that. but you get my point, he's gorgeous:
