Get 3 external enclosures (usb 2.0/firewire 400/800), then buy 3x 250gb hard drive.. seagate, western digital its cheaper.. or if you don't want to go this way go with LaCie external drive (you can get 'em from Dell)

I have five Maxtor One Touch external drives (three 200 Gb and two 250 Gb) and they work great for daily video editing.

I have triple external usb2.0 200gb western digital drives...got the cases on ebay and the hd's on pricewatch

the hd's were $70-80 a piece and the cases are usually $15 or so
